Where We Work
Sirende Ward
Kitale, Kenya
Kitale is a town in the northwest of Kenya, in the Rift Valley It is a rural area, unlike the city slums of Nairobi. Luhya is the majority tribe represented in the province. Kitale is composed of twenty-five (25) county wards located in Trans-Nzoia County.
The assessment of the first ward was completed in 2024. The Sirende ward, is a defined area composed of 3,600 households and 19,325 people.
Missionary training began in February 2025 and the first filter distributions and Gospel presentation occurred in March 2025. Once the Sirende ward is completed in 2026, we will be moving to the next ward with the assessment of this area to be done in Q4 of 2025.
